is a grassroots organization building quality of life amenities for our community.

The First Best Place is dedicated to maintaining the unique small-town character of the area, while we seek to build on opportunities for outdoor adventure and economic prosperity.

North Valley Music School

Music Lessons in Columbia Falls!


North Valley Music School and the First Best Place have teamed up to bring violin, piano, voice, and viola lessons to Glacier Discovery Square

 North Valley Music School’s mission is to enrich the musical life of the community through music education and performance.  They have been doing just that in Whitefish for the past 10 years and currently have over 600 students a year from babies to retirees.  For fall private lessons will be $64 per month (30 minutes once per week) with a $36 yearly registration fee. A 50% scholarship program is available for students who qualify for the federal school lunch program; reduced price lunch receive 25%
