The Kreck Riverwalk Trail at the Old Red Bridge is a scenic walking path along the east side of the Flathead river. Rustic and natural, this path allows users to truly experience the river. The trail was named in memory of Columbia Falls resident and outdoor enthusiast Loren Kreck, who passed away in 2010.

Expanding the trail network: future trail goals include connection to Meadow Lake Resort and eventually to Whitefish, and creating a connection between uptown Columbia Falls and River’s Edge Park on the Flathead River.
