Disco Youth CanTEEN

Disco Youth CanTEEN opens Monday, October 3rd for Grades 6-9. Lower level of Discovery Square. Hours 3-6 pm, Mondays & Wednesdays. Membership FREE to those willing to PARTICIPATE and FOLLOW RULES. Homework, hang time, board games, and open mic (instruments welcome). Mondays drop-in art class 4-5 p.m. Wednesday theater arts classes 3-5. Concessions available.

In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, Flathead County Library System, School District #6, Flathead Valley Community College, and North Valley Hospital, First Best Place is expanding the reach of youth programs to serve a greater segment of the youth community, and to establish the Square as a safe and comfortable place for both teens and younger children to gather, to learn, and to interact.

The First Best Place continues to develop extensive programs focused on youth of all ages. In partnership with FVCC, School District #6, and North Valley Hospital, the Square has hosted numerous seminars, films, music programs, and other educational and cultural activities. Discovery Square serves as headquarters for several Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, hosts ongoing private and group music education through the North Valley Music School, and is the default location for youth events of all kinds.
